  2. Just downloaded the new voice models to my 3XL. The speech recognition is dead perfect and astonishingly fast. I am a fast talker and it keeps up with me for extended amounts of text. This is a huge improvement in real-time transcription.

  3. You do have to turn on if have a Pixel. Go into settings and search for keyboard.

    Then virtual keyboard, Gboard, voice typing, fast recognizition.

    Mine is 85 MB

    It is pretty amazing.

  5. Remember that this is only possible because of hardware acceleration for neural networks in the Snapdragon chipsets inside those phones.

    Spreading tasks to specialized processors is the way forward, as shown here.

    Let’s all recall that before complaining about single-threaded performance on synthetic benchmarks.
