  1. I would want this device as something that I can use to draw attention away from my phone. Though I am not enough of a baller to spend 200 on what is really a 50/50 chance of me liking the thing.

  2. A lot of people here love small phones but said they wouldn’t buy the Palm phone because it was an « accessory » originally. To those people, would you consider buying it now?

  3. I’m tempted. But I also really like the camera on my pixel 2. I could see myself rocking this palm phone but I’d also want to carry my pixel 2 for those moments where I want to take pictures.

I had a chance to try the palm phone and really did like the size of it.

  4. So cute omg. I wish teh market would start offering more manageable and svelte form factors again.

    Sammy’s S Mini line, the iPhone SE… Powerful internals (or upper/midrange internals) with 4 – 5″ bodies.

  5. This is basically a phone for idiots and people with money to burn.
No normal person would buy a 200$ toy when you can buy a redmi note 7 for that price. I know its purpose is to not use your phone, but if you don’t wanna use it, turn it off and out it away.
    This is foe delusional people

  6. Or just get a Nokia 1. Yeah, the specs suck and it’s a bit larger but at least it lasts more than 3 hours on battery, runs Android Go which is fairly optimized and is promised to be kept up to date by Nokia which have a good track record with updates. Oh, it also costs 3x less.

  7. I always thought the point of it was just to drive your smart watch and wireless ear buds, so you’re not taking it out of your pocket and turning the screen on all the time. Wouldn’t that make the smaller battery more worthwhile if your SOT is drastically reduced because you’re looking at your watch screen instead or having notifications read to your through your ear buds?

  8. Call me crazy, but I would be into this, if I could use it to just connect to my phone while on the same WiFi.

I do a fair amount of walking and moving around and a pixel 3 xl gets cumbersome when you are crouching down around machines and the like. If I could carry this to still get notifications while my OG phones stays at my desk it would be great
