    Google is getting slaughtered by the media for security and loses android users to IOS every year in premium markets.

    No one wants to only be king of the budget market and let Apple take all the profits and control the industry.

    Google is locking down android to make it more appealing to premium IOS users and I dont blame them.

  2. Look at the upvotes on this article… Android fanboys care more about a WiFi switch than legitimate security concerns.
    We should be greatlful that Android copies iOS security methods for God’s sake. Actual developers know that iOS is the market ***leader*** when it comes to security and app quality.
