S10 price is falling like crazy, already more than 200€ down on initial price

  1. In Australia I can get the S10 A$170 cheaper than launch price, but it’s an imported model with little local support and half the warranty.

Generally sourced from the UAE or somewhere similar.

Is yours a local model? If so, then that’s a good deal!

  2. As I see this is from Germany. Most people got the S10 preordered with 20% CB Coupon. With free available coupons you could get the S10 with buds for 694€ or 611€ without buds.

  3. I bought an S10e Snapdragon for £489 recently, that’s £180 cheaper than anywhere else and that’s before I’ve sold my S8+ so a bit of a bargain if you ask me!

  4. You have to remember all the available promotions at launch, free buds, $550 trade ins, BOGO’s, etc..
Now all them promos are gone, so the price is now where it should be. Here in the US, the S10 is $649 at Costco but still $899 at carriers, so you have to be a savy shopper or you can still pay full price. Both Verizon and AT&T are still offering BOGO, albeit through bill credits.

  5. It’s just like buying a new car. If you want the latest and greatest, expect to pay out the ass for it.

If you are patient and willing to wait a few years (or months in the phone space) you can save a ton of money.

Thanks to the wonders of Black Friday, back in 2017 I bought an Essential PH-1 that originally retailed for $699 in the Spring for $145 that November.

You’ve got to be either an idiot or a big time enthusiast to buy a phone when it first comes out.

  6. INTL Galaxy devices always cheaper from what I’ve seen. When the s10+ first released I saw them going for like 800 or something BEFORE the hit stores over here.

  7. I’m going to guess this is a hk model or something? I know wonda has dropped the price by 150£ or something already. Pretty good deal currently if you don’t need warranty

Edit: this is where op found the price, pressing the ebay link leads to an error and the second cheapest one is returned open box if my bad German serves me correctly

Edit 2: Link is working again.

  8. This has always been Samsung’s pricing strategy since the galaxy S5. Please stop posting here about « amazing deals ». It is well known.

  9. Where are you seeing these prices drop? I checked my carrier website, Samsung, and Amazon and they are all retail prices and haven’t dropped at all.

  10. It’s like that every year. Especially now BOGOs and other deals are out

But you get a pre order bonus as wel depending where you are, $50 credit, buds/$130 cert. Galaxy gear s3/watch, Samsung tv, wireless chargers. Etc

  11. not sure what site you’re using, but this depends heavily on the website it’s sourcing from, the model, and so on and so fourth. this isn’t an accurate depiction of actual market value

  12. I got $450 off day one at Costco. All I had to do is open a new line for $25 a month for 2 months until the rebate comes in. I been doing this since the s7. They rant out of preorder so I couldn’t get the freebuds tho.

  13. Hmm…ebay one I would bet is refurbished. The second one clearly states its refurbished.

But on Amazon and elswhere there is def. a 120-130€ cut. Not over 200€ but still.
