Quelque chose doit changer pour Android Q

Something needs to change to Android Q

  1. I think this is what OP is talking about guys

Yes, privacy becomes better, but at the same time, give the option to disable/enable. Now it’s the default. Many of the reasons why we liked android was because it was more like a PC, more a poweruser phone, you had control. But that left lots of security holes open. Now they are becoming much more restrictive without giving you options.

  2. What features? Make a case for it.

I’m seeing the Tasker automation I’ve built break and I’m not really upset about it. I am actually happy that the hack I built is not going to be allowed anymore, because I’m using an intent to turn on/off my VPN and other apps should NOT be allowed to do this without my permission.

Edit: some of these complaints are absolutely valid, and I don’t want to dismiss them. Others, however, remind me of [this](https://xkcd.com/1172/) comic.

  3. What makes Android Android is the OEMs not Google.

Android was deliberate made open source and free for. OEMs and carriers to configure it how ever they want, that’s why it gained traction and now Google is trying to recover some co trol over it but meanwhile it stays open source, Samsung can do whatever unless Google forces things in CTS

  4. Huh?

Are you just referring to the Tasker \ wifi thing? That may be fixed by the end of the beta that started only a week ago.

    Everything else is great.
