  1. Why can’t they just give us the choice? It’s like how some people like the swipe typing, but some of us prefer to just punch the damned keys.

How hard can it be to provide a couple of different navigation options?!

  2. All I want is more native support for overriding the navigation so we can replace it with something else, say Fluid NG. I love FNG – paid for and use it – but not having to have hacks to get it to work correctly would be nice (accessibility, hack to watch incoming notifications, Navi bar hide, etc). It’d be faster and more battery efficient, I’m sure.

  3. I spam the back button a lot to exit from messaging apps. You have to first get rid of the keyboard, then go back to all msgs, then exit the app. Spamming is just so much easier and faster than swiping the pill three times.

  4. Ew. Swiping the pill to the left is not feasible on large phones while only using one hand. Does any of the people working on this feature actually _use_ their phone?

  5. I’d love it if I could pick where the back button goes for on screen buttons. I think it’s bizarre we can’t configure something that’s software placed when my LG G4 allowed me to do so.

  6. When Pie came out there was a consensus that we should be able to swipe the pill to the left to go back. Now that this is an actual option, wow. It is terribly unnatural. It feels incredibly awkward.

  7. I love the back button and it would piss me off enormously if they got rid of it at all but for some haphazard squiggle instead? F*$k OFF!

    Having a back button and button panel is not a « problem », IT’S A SANITY-PRESERVING FEATURE!
