  1. I wonder if these offers that are popping up are good for users who’ve had free trials before. I couldn’t redeem the free few months of YouTube Premium that came with my Google Smart Display.

Edit: It seems people aren’t able to get it. This shouldn’t be a selling point as some who pay for these subscriptions look for ways to redeem these, but can’t. I think I’ve only had good Netflix offers, where you actually get a credit on Netflix account for those months.

  2. Thanks! I was trying to find a way to do it while screen is sleeping. I did know about YouTube Premium but didn’t want to pay to subscribe. I wish there was an app that allowed me to convert YouTube to MP4 Files as I don’t have a computer.

  3. I’ve watched through a lot of the premium content, I would far and away recommend VSauce Mind Field as the best use of your free trial for sure. I think it’s kind of the best effort done by any creator for the premium platform, and there’s multiple seasons of it.

  4. I’m all for ads supporting free content, it’s a fair comprise. My problem is YouTube letting the content creators add as many ads as they want. So now you have those people having an ad every minute and half during their 10 minute video abusing the piss out of it. An ad every 5 minutes much more reasonable.

So now Google offers a premium subscription to circumvent the bull shit situation they created in the first place. Yeah no thanks I’ll just use Vanced and give as many shits as Google does which is none.

  5. Is YouTube Premium completely in Canada yet?  Because I still see « This offer is not available » on the app, even though I’ve noticed posts saying that it is.  Not sure if it’s my Family Plan that’s blocking it.

  6. Oh good god, Samsung went over their budget and is now Verizoning it by filling it with bloat to collect pennies…

    Youtube TV? No thanks

Youtube Premium? That’s just McDonalds served on expensive china calling it gourmet
