  1. This reminds me, if you have an S10 make sure you have « document scanning » enabled in the scene optimizer settings. It’ll give you an option to auto crop a document in the viewfinder. Pressing the « scan » button takes a picture that’s auto cropped, rotated and skewed to be a flat scan.

  2. Google Photos is one of the best Google applications there is. Huge fan.

I like the styling Google will do on photos. Got one the other morning that was excellent. Far from perfect though.

  3. Is it just better to pay the $1.99 for 100gb of Google Drive space and load pics at full resolution? As I understand you can then just put your pics in folders however you want, basically as files in GD, not like the sort-of database way that Photos handles pics.

  4. I don’t give a fuck.

Still missing massive amounts of features that was present back before Photos became the image solution. Where are all those features? Suggesting albums and pictures. Auto-awesome.

  5. Okay, as a university student, this is **Ultra epic**. I have so many photos of docs and blackboard. I would have taken with office lens, but the truth is it’s too slow for most situations. An easy way to do this in **post** would be the killer solution.

  6. Google photos support live photos from ios and they call it Motion Photos.

Motion Photos from iOS have Audio

Pixel3 pictures have motion photos WITHOUT AUDIO

    wtf
