  1. The image is obviously a Photoshop render, the end of the screen doesn’t look even remotely genuine. The actual renders leaked earlier in the week and yes it still has an alert slider (now closer to power button than on the 6t) check out the tweet from Onleaks for the real image

  2. Okay, first they get rid of the ultra fast (probably the fastest) fingerprint scanner, then the ultra fast (again, probably the fastest) face unlock, and now the alert slider. Which part of the crowd are they targeting? Is there a market where people want to pay more for downgrades?

–An early adopter of OnePlus and a fan (almost no-more).

  3. Sounds solid, but I wonder how it will use all those camera sensors, I imagine they don’t work together since I think the 855 can only handle a single 48MP sensor, unless they use pixel binning first. Also no mention of the type of in display scanner, if it upgraded to ultrasonic or if it’s still optical. Either way if it’s really that price and those specs I’d strongly consider one if the camera is well reviewed.

  4. Best solution to the notch and hole-punch options. I hardly use the front facing camera, never used the headphone jack on my OP6, don’t use face unlock, just hoping the fingerprint scanner is faster

  5. What smartphone manufacturer should be targeting in 2019 is rear FP, optical sensors, infared and wide angle. The in-display doesn’t realistically have a practical purpose atm. And leaving out everything else is fuckin stupid. Wouldn’t be surprised if other manufacturers started following Samsung’s footsteps and cut out everything but in display reader or some other bullshit.
