  1. From what I can understand, the 5G modem needs a lot more power than what the current LTE modems need. How do you plan maintain a good battery life on this new 5G phone?

Also how much will this 5G tech increase the price of this phone, if compared to the OP6T prices.

  2. Hi guys! 4G took a while before it was ready for mainstream success. The first 4G devices were notoriously bad for battery life. Do you forsee that initial roadbump for first gen 5G devices too? Should I hold off on the OnePlus5G till the tech is refined?

  3. What is the main benefit(s) of 5G phones/apps? What specific advantages do they have over 4G? I feel like 4G is already fast enough for most apps. Is the additional cost justified for the unnecessarily fast speed?

  4. Not really about the program, but about OnePlus and 5G. At the moment OnePlus isnt widely supported by providers when it comes to VoLTE and VoWifi. How is OnePlus going to make sure that they will be more supported by providers in the future. VoLTE, vowifi, but especially when talking about 5G?

  5. So how exactly does this program work? Also, I’m very excited to see OnePlus working with Verizon as I’ve always wanted to own a OnePlus, but Verizon was never fully supported in the past

  6. Hm, I think it’ll be awhile for 5G to take off from the sounds of it. 4G LTE gets the job done right and it’s fast enough as it is. I don’t see how apps will improve with 5G – maybe a decent boost in speed and that’s it? If the phone’s RAM management isn’t too great, I don’t see how 5G could help with it. I must be missing something.

I think OnePlus should remain focused on just making good phones than to be a leader in 5G or whatever. You won’t be able to use such a thing at it’s full potential – not for another few years.
