  2. $400….

It seems more of a 7 Plus refresh than the rumored 6.2.

Although they released the 8.1 a few months back at this same price so im kinda confused now….

  3. Neat.

There’s been a few devices along these lines popping up. Started with ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2, then ~some RealMe, then the Redmi Note 7, then the Moto One successor that leaked the other week, and now this.

Good year to be looking at midrangers.

  4. No unlockable bootloader, no sale.

    Which is disappointing.

I would love to be able to pick up one of the newer Nokia branded Android devices, if only for the sheer nostalgia value. Oh and they need to work on optimising performance.

Some Nokia 7 Plus users complained of stutters and lags. The Mi A2, compared to the 7 Plus was and is a far better deal. Better cameras, better performance, unlockable bootloader.

Smaller battery, yes. No headphone jack; true. But overall, I would rather pick a device which isn’t locked down by the OEM over one which has a headphone jack.

  5. Why does Samsung have the hole on the right? It makes more sense to me to have it on the left. First – I am more used to looking on the battery and wifi + signal on the very right. Second – I flip the screen to watch widescreen videos to have a speaker in my right hand which means the hole is on top rather than bottom of the screen. I am glad at least nokia and honor understand.
