  1. In MIUI I use this all the time. It saved me during a situation where I couldn’t figure out what my WiFi password was(because it’s been ages since I had to type that in) but I wanted to share it with my friend. Just used the QR code and bam! He’s connected!

  2. Is this similar to WiFi sharing that is on some Samsung/Pixel(?) or General Android phones? Where you use your WiFi the phone is connected to as the hotspot than your cellular data?

  3. « Never share you WiFi password with anybody else except your family » ~ Tech Support Scammer.

I wonder how long until someone will get access to your WiFi with malicious intent.

  4. Did they add auto connect/disconnect functionality? Sometimes I don’t want phone to connect to particular wifi network only way is turn off WiFi or forget the network.

  5. I’ve had that feature since launch on my honor 8. While it is nice, I must say I have only used it once. WPS is just about as convenient as a QR code.

  6. This will be so nice. Now my GF won’t have to try and remember the password and give out the wrong one or give out the password to the non-Guest SSID.

I’ll just have guests scan the QR code.
