  1. Its pretty impressive how stealthily they have been improving this.

I plugged my phone into my computer to share the screen and was so confused to find basically a computer inside my phone with all my files and office programs ready to go…

I used it for the rest of the day and was seriously blown away.. microsoft tried to do it from the PC side merging into the phone experience but this is a far better approch, having a desktop focused experience that extends from the phone OS.

  2. A year ago, I went full dex after my laptop broke down and stayed down. Since then, I have used my phone literally for all my computer work, that being making qoutes/estimates and billing. I’m so glad I don’t have to buy laptops anymore.

  3. This should get more hype and news coverage. I really wish that Samsung could release a laptop like accessory like project Linda. I would ditch all laptops and only use my phone.

This is the future but it’s not getting the attention that it should. I feel like the media is going to go bananas on this whenever Apple releases their own version of project Linda and macOS on your iPhone; it shouldn’t be like that and I really hate it.

  4. This makes me interested in an eventual refurb purchase. I’ve been interested in the Note line because of the stylus. But refurbed Note 8s are kind of close price wise to S9s.

What would you suggest- refurb Note 8 or refurb S9? Is the stylus really that great? Is the next gen spec bump too good to ignore?

  5. My luck! I waited for LoD support for a year as I bought the S9 on launch and two days ago decided to ditch it for note9 as I couldn’t wait any longer :’D

But great news in any case

  6. Where do I download the Linux on DeX beta app?

Edit: I found a version 1.0.51 on apkmirror. Is this the latest one?

    Edit2: yeah that worked

Edit 3: Only the terminal appears to work. When I try Linux on Dex in Dex mode, I only get a black screen. Any ideas?
