LG G8 ThinQ review: A good phone marred by gimmicks

Avant d’obtenir un smartphone pliable, il faut absolument regarder les différents appareils disponibles sur le marché. Lequel, permettra vraiment de regarder les jokes tous les jours de manière gréable ?

  1. If they aren’t going to improve their UI, just use stock Android. It’s cheaper and it looks a lot fucking better.

But no, they want to be a knockoff version of Samsung.

Stop creating these useless gimmicks and drop the price of the phones. There you go, you have a winner again.

  2. Very solid device that I think I could recommend to people without hesitation! If it weren’t for the S10(e)…. and how it is better in every way….

LG’s phones have consistently been good, its just that the competition is better.

  3. If you have a ToF sensor in the notch, why on earth would you do a “Hand ID” instead of a FaceID solution, which is better in every possible way? Why spend extra manufacturing costs for such a stupid gimmick?

  4. Would be a solid phone for $400 with lack of software support. A shame you need Lineage or other custom roms to keep it alive for many years IF it has an unlocked bootloader. If not then absolutely no recommendation.

  5. Why do I like to be tortured? I promised myself I would swear off LG after how they did me wrong with my G4 and refused to fix the boot loop…. I know they’ve improved but it’s hard to forgive and forget.

  6. Hand id makes sense but only in a very few amount of situations. Like if you’re cooking, you could just wave your hand over the phone. But you might as well just use the google assistant.

  7. Using a G7 at the moment but it’s locked down to all hell. if updates and security updates mean a lot to you id suggest going with a different phone I recently got the February security patch in march on T-Mobile and before that I was on the December security patch. I have very little confidence in pie being on here in the next couple of months. So be warned if you plan on buying this other than that its been rock solid I haven’t had a problem.
