The Galaxy S10 can’t tell when it’s in your pocket, keeps waking the screen

Avant d’acheter un smartphone pliable, il faut toujours regarder les différents appareils disponibles sur le marché. Lequel, permettra vraiment de regarder les jokes chaque jours de manière confortable ?

  1. On the note of phones in pockets, you know how some Motorola phones had the gesture of « shake to turn on flashlight »? Yeah, about that…

^(« Dude, why is your pocket glowing? »)

  2. Here I thought it was just me.. At least I’m not the only one!

I also have issues with the prox sensor being VERY finicky about how I hold the phone during a call to keep the screen off.

  3. This problem has been on literally every galaxy phone ive ever had. The whole « keep screen off if the prox sensor thinks its against something » is so clever but for some reason has never ever worked (across 4 galaxy phones at this point)

  4. I’ve noticed my S10+ has issues with the screen staying off when I’m listening to a voicemail, my cheek keeps pausing the message when I’m trying to listen to it. But no other times is it an issue, but I also don’t use tap to wake.

  5. I am sorry Samsung, but that’s pretty sad for a $1000 phone, especially when this is not even a new feature and phones have been doing this for a while now.

  6. This is why you wait to buy a flagship phone. Let them work the kinks out first. I usually wait till I hear about the next one coming out. It’s also cheaper that way.

  7. Smartphone that can’t tell if it’s in your pocket or not ? Then it’s a stupidphone not a smartphone, not only that they brag about AI or shit, the AI must be stupid too.

  8. Could they just have the finger print reader not work unless the light sensor detects light? That is assuming the fingerprint scanner is what’s causing it to wake.

  9. Glad it’s not just me, keep having audio pause at random, I assume the pause button in the notification is getting pressed. Also managed to open the emergency call and enter a load of numbers once which could have been a problem. I didn’t ever have this problem on my S9.

  10. I think its because of the little magnetic sensor might be too sensitive , the one that tells if it those special front door covers . I actually have book cover type on my phone just because i have scratched my phone by putting it in the same pocket as keys and i like the look . For me it fixes the issue.
