  1. Can someone tell me why third party launchers on pie don’t have that « half » swipe up gesture and then full swipe up for the app drawer? Only swipe up for recents.

  2. Man, Google really dropped the ball with Digital Wellbeing. For one, there are now widgets. iOS lets you put a widget to immediately remind you of your phone usage. On Android I have to purposefully go to the Digital Wellbeing app to check my usage. Most of the time I even forget it’s there.

    Second, the app blocking is second-rate. The only thing it lets you is set a time limit for using an app in a given 24 hour period. But there is no more customization than that. So you can set a timer for 1 hour of usage for an app, hit midnight, the counter resets and you’re on your marry way. It would be much more useful if we could block apps from running AT ALL after a certain time.

    Digital Wellbeing is a really good concept but Google needs to do way more with it.
