  1. >The study also found that in Q4 of 2018, the **Pixel 3 made up 7.3% of Verizon’s total smartphone sales**. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 6T made up 2.4% of T-Mobile’s total sales.

Those are actually pretty good numbers for the Pixel 3.

There were some reports on r/verizon a while back that samsung is pissed at Verizon about the Pixel deal because its actually doing more damage than people thought. It looks like that could be true.

However, *Google should figure out a way to start improving those iPhone conversion rates* and lesson the Samsung ones.

  2. What I’m interested in, is how many first time Pixel owners will upgrade to another Pixel, and how many first time Pixel buyers will go to another brand as their next phone? Only time will tell I guess!

  3. I had a Pixel 2XL. I liked it a lot, but I wanted to try the OnePlus 6T and I could get it quickly and easily through TMo. I’m enjoying the OnePlus product, though it’s incredibly slippery without a case. I miss Google Camera’s excellent portrait bokeh effect and I haven’t taken the time to seek out a third-party camera alternative. (But I’m open to suggestions.)

Otherwise, the OnePlus 6T is great and blazingly fast, but I’ll probably rotate back to a Pixel next round.

  4. I owned the Nexus 5, 6 and 6p and jumped off the train for the 6t. Battery life, price and speed decided it for me. Though I am hella jealous of the pictures people capture with their pixels.

  5. Very, very interesting. This is counter to /r/android’s gut feeling that core Pixel sales are coming from iPhone converts. That’s who Google was targeting, but it looks like they didn’t manage to succeed.

  6. I would love to switch to a Galaxy S10. The only thing keeping me from doing it is the garbage Android Skin. Seriously I was blown away by how much bloat and useless crap they shoved into vanilla Android. Give me a Galaxy with pure Android and I’ll never use another phone.
