  1. * You can qualify as either a new or existing Google Fi customer.
    * Activate your Pixel 3 or 3 XL within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email.
    * Activate on the Fi account used to purchase the phone. You can activate it yourself or give it to a group plan member to activate.
    * The discounted price will automatically apply during checkout.
    * If Fi is not activated within 30 days of the phone shipment confirmation email, the discounted amount will be charged to your Google Payments account to match the full price of the phone.

    * **If Google Fi determines that this offer is used in connection with abuse, misuse, or fraud, the discounted amount will be charged to your Google Payments account.**

  2. What’s the catch? How long do you need to keep it on fi before you can swap to another carrier? If you only have to pay for 1 month of fi, can you keep the discounted monthly payments?

  3. I will always always wait 3-4 months before I buy a Google device!

I hate my self for buying my Pixel 3 XL for 1100 like what was I thinking this thing going for 400$ now

  4. Pulled the trigger on a pink XL! Finally upgrading from my Nexus 6P. Does anyone know if I can use my old project fi sim card with the new phone, or do I need to get another one?

  5. Son of a….I just bought this a couple of weeks ago. 2 days past the return period. Hoping they give me a price adjustment….

EDIT: so they would not credit me the price adjustment….however they let me return my phone I had purchased and I bought another. So I basically upgraded from 64GB to 128GB and saved $350! Not a bad deal.

  6. I lucked out. I’ve been on T-Mobile for like 6 years with that $30 5Gig plan, but ran out of data on a trip yesterday. I went to re-up my plan a week early and found that option was removed *years* ago and I could only « upgrade » to a $45 4Gig plan.

No thanks. I already use Hangouts exclusively for talking and messaging, it will be literally no use change for me, and maybe $10 more per month on average. I only use 1-2 Gigs anyway.

  7. Been thinking about this today. I have the pixel 2 which has been treating me very well since I’ve had it but half off is very enticing. Can any of you give me reasons for and against doing this offer with my current pixel 2?

  8. Oh my goodness. I am so tempted to pull the trigger on this. I have a OnePlus 6 Currently that I could probably sell for like 300-350 locally according to Swappa prices. Pretty much covering the cost of getting a regular 3. Decisions decisions… The only real reason I could see sticking with the 6 is the headphone jack. I get crappy battery life (3.5 hours on average probably, yes even after factory resets) and I really value having a great camera.

What do ya’ll think? Good buy right now? Stupid? I’m going on a trip to Guatemala in about a week for 6 weeks and it’d be really nice to have a nice camera for the trip. I’M SO TORN.

  9. For any UK customers who obviously can’t make use of this deal, O2 are currently doing £400 off the Pixel 3 range with their device refresh plans at the moment.

You were able to get another £75 off this but I believe this has now expired. You will have to sign up to a contract but it is a 1 month rolling plan so you can either try to cancel the contract part of the deal within your 14 day cooling off period or at worst, pay for the first month of the plan (£19 for 1GB).

I’ve got a brand new 128GB Pixel 3 coming tomorrow for £373 ($485) which I’m pretty happy with considering the sale price on the Google store is currently £689 ($900).

  10. Is this a better deal than the OnePlus 6T? Picked up a 6 GB 6T months ago when that was a better deal, but second guessing that choice now…

Looking for better camera, speakers, and sunlight visibility than the 6T, but worried about battery and performance being significantly worse on the Pixel 3.

  11. If I purchase this, but plan to stick with my current carrier, should I just sign up for Google fi with a new phone number and use it for a few weeks before cancelling it then just pop my old SIM card back in?
