5 réflexions au sujet de “DJ Koh, la division mobile de la PDG de Samsung est persuadée que la com…”

  1. That’s not even what he said, they quote him as saying « we’ve been A leader…and will remain so. » Which is probably true, they’re not going anywhere. Samsung will continue to be A leader for the next 10 years, but not necessarily THE leader (or TOP manufacturer).

  2. Typical marketing nonsense and claiming that tech like 5G and foldable phones will make you king for next 10 years. This is like people buying Google glass saying this is the future, and it turned out to be nonsense.

The reality is that Samsung is slipping in innovation. With Huawei and Apple reaping the benefits of vertical integration, while Samsung is not even trying to cut all the fragmentation. This causes them time and money, with the budget splitting to support multiple different versions of the same phone, and each with an exynos variant additionally.

The S10 is still the best overall phone you can buy. But the leap from P10->P20->P30 from Huawei has vastly outstripped growth of S8->S9->S10. So how long can Samsung retain it’s lead given current situation remains to be seen.

  3. Not if they continue with their bullshit like tagging their devices with aggressive pricing, offering lower end processors on their flagships, soldering the UsB C port and front mic to the motherboard, voiding the warranty for rooting, making ugly cutouts in the display, removing the headphone jack and removing the expandable storage slot.

I wish they’ll once learn to stop copying the crap that their competitor Apple inc does with their devices. Copying the shit that Apple pulls will not make them a better company.
