> If you want to get deep about it, many people I know all go « look, cows! » or just « cows! » whenever they see a cow. Just the thought of the queen doing this alone is hilarious and warrants watching it over and over again. Also, the Queens thought process is clearly written out here. She’s terribly bored and Philip is probably nattering away at her, and suddenly COWS! And she fights the urge to say, « COWS! » for a moment before giving in and succumbing to the inevitable joy of cows.
If you don’t want to get deep about it, it’s hilarious and it has cows and the Queen.

I never thought I’d be able to relate so hard to The Queen
she has the same reaction as my 3yo daughter.
Her initial look was… “ what kind of fucking dog is that ?”….
I hope I’m that cute when I’m her age.
The only thing that would make this better is if she said « MooCows! » as god intended.
Seems like she gonna out live us all
I love the way she and her husband beam at each other
I suppose for someone who is used to all kinds of bands and horse guards marching around in extravagant uniforms its a nice change of pace just to see a cow stomping along.
OMG, she’s so freaking adorable! Double take and COWS! 😂❤️
That’s the cutest I’ve ever seen the Queen!
And the cows said « Queen! :O »
This was my ex’s reaction (she was from Hong Kong, lived in New York City) when we visited my family in Scotland. Everywhere we went she’d shout out the name of another form of livestock.
Now I know what to get the queen for her birthday.
This has been an on going joke with my mother since I was like 10 (I’m 27 now). We were on a road trip driving through Alberta and would shout « COWS! I SEE COWS IN THE DISTANCE!! »
17 years later and we still shout at cows in the distance. I don’t live in the same country as my mum anymore so this made me smile/shared it with her with no explanation. She got the reference and it made her day.
Not that anyone cares but whatever, my mom is adorable and the internet can deal with a happy mom/daughter story no one asked for.
I love this gif I haven’t seen it for ages, it’s really cheered me up.
I once had to apologize during a job interview for saying « Squirrel! » at a random point. I had just moved from squirrel-less Hawaii and couldn’t help myself. I was basically Dug the first few years in the mainland.
cows = big dogs with a power to give milk
COWS *point* 🙂
I can’t stop watching how adorable this is!
I’ll be honest that’s pretty wholesome
r/me_irl on a road trip through farm country.
An oldie but a goodie.
Nice gif too.
I thought this was going to be something scandalous – like ‘well there’s that tart you knew back in college.’ Instead I’m smiling big realizing that even after all she’s seen in her lifetime, she’s still like OMG COWS!
Interesting fact of the day, I was a soldier in the British army and was the only horse rider for my regiment during this display (hmq 90)
I swear I can hear that she is saying * »Cows »*
« Ee, cows! »
Well, that was thoroughly adorable.
It’s her little chuckle at herself after she’s said it.
I think this is why most people in England love the Queen
She’s never been so relatable to me.
