Galaxy Buds exp

  1. The sound isn’t as bass heavy as many like that’s true but I’ve had zero issues with the buds otherwise.
Using them on an iPhone XS, Samsung tab S2, and pixel 2 xl.

Connection stability is identical to AirPods for me

  2. I have them but they’re pretty shitty in respect to connectivity and range. S10+ as well. Got them the other day and did the firmware update out of the box. They more or less work fine if I have the phone right in front of me. If I put it down on the desk or next to me on a bench, they do nothing but cut in and out. Any more distance than 5 ft and they’re useless. How the hell do I fix these, because I have a $20 pair of bluetooth headphones that work flawlessly.

  3. When someone says headphones sound flat, my ears perk up with excitement so now I want to try them. Thanks for this post. I like accuracy in all forms of media reproduction. If it has a screen or plays sound, I want it as flat as possible.

  4. I had the galaxy buds for about a week. I use an iPhone SE. They are definitely acceptable sounding. I only felt a little bass. The passive noise cancellation was good. I now have AirPods. The AirPods obviously have like little to no noise cancellation. Sounds a tiny tiny bit less clear vocally than the galaxy buds. I barely feel bass on the AirPods but I’m not complaining.

I prefer the AirPods more mainly because of convenience. The galaxy buds are comfortable but it takes a little more effort to remove them from the ears. AirPods just feels so much lighter that I barely notice them when there is no sound. Super easy to take off. Can hear others even while listening to music (I like that.)

I prefer the charging case of AirPods over the galaxy buds. I like to fidget with the case. Galaxy bud case can’t be used as a fidget with one hand 🙁
