  2. I want to give a shout-out to Bitwarden for password management. I got the recommendation from this sub, actually.

I was using LastPass before, but it seems like the company never bothered improving their app. So now, I’m using Bitwarden full-time, and never am looking back.

    Linkme: Bitwarden

  3. I’m an old fuddy-duddy who still maintains an MP3 library on my desktop PC.

are there any apps that would let me sync certain playlists over to my Android phone? wirelessly would be great, but having to plug my phone in wouldn’t be the end of the world…. I don’t want to sync my entire collection, though, or have to manage individually dragging and dropping MP3’s over to my phone.

not opposed to having to pay for an app if it would get the job done.

  4. My aunt just gifted me a treasure trove of vintage photos of the family. I want to be able to upload these to various genealogy sites, but I don’t have a scanner. What’s the best app to take a good quality scan/photo of vintage pictures? Preferably one that can save in image format rather than pdf, but the quality is what matters, not the format. I also don’t mind paying for an app.

  5. Is there any budgeting money-tracking app that can pull spending data from your bank account without you having to manually input it all? I assume there must be but nothing I’ve looked at yet can do this and there’s a seemingly endless number of these apps.

  6. I’m looking for shortcuts for activating Google assistant routines/actions. Sometimes I want to activate one without speaking, and typing out the command is burdensome.

I’m also looking for an attractive calendar agenda widget that lets you use Google new-event dialogs when creating an event. I’m using Business Calendar 2 but since it’s its own calendar this is not an option (I’ve asked them).

Finally, I need a replacement for Simple Gallery, which is no longer supported.

  7. Anybody knows a keyboard similar to Swiftkey? I don’t know why, but I get a ton of mistakes with Swiftkey against other keyboards, but haven’t found one with the predictions of Swiftkey.

  8. Looking for an email client with just as many features as BlueMail. The only problem I have with it is that it seems to take a while to refresh and hangs for ages. AquaMail seems like the exact same to me

  9. I have a really weird one and I’m not sure that it counts.

I’ve just ‘downgraded’ to the Moto g7 power and have discovered the grey scale mode.

I’ve known about filters but I’m addicted to this and I have no idea why.

  10. Looking for a music player that has a shuffle feature that isn’t broken (does not repeat songs before going through all other songs). For some reason this is hard to find.

  11. Looking for a news app (similar to flipboard/feedly) that also has a built in « diary » in which I can add my random thoughts to say so. Any ideas?
