Applications préférées, ? que vous ne pouvez pas vivre ?

Favorite apps you can’t live without?

  1. AdGuard – I don’t wanna be without a system wide ad blocker. Websites, apps, doesn’t matter. Ads begone!

    Titanium Backup – this makes getting my phone setup so much easier and faster. Saves me time from having to install all my apps and having to reconfigure them.

    Substratum/Swift Installer – it themes the system and several apps too. It lets me have a black theme where one isn’t natively available.

    Syncthing – makes it easy to have a folder synced between my phone and PC. Great for keeping backups.

    EasyJoin – if I only need to transfer some files one time, I will use this app instead.

    Keepass2Android – simply a great password manager

  2. kernel adiutor to improve performance/battery life and neuter aggressive RAM managers

    titanium backup for guess what

    microG to replace google’s bloated services

    firefox because it’s still the only browser with proper addons

    couple others that are nice to have but not essential because there are usable alternatives: root browser for full file access, link2sd for easy debloating (and moving apps into the system partition), fbreader for ebooks, screen shift to change screen dimensions (useful for damaged devices with dead-zones near the edges)

  3. Today Weather for their clock/weather widget. I also like Business Calendar for their widgets, and it syncs with Google calendar. Podcast Addict is the best free podcast app imo. And Swipe is a good free third party Facebook app that doesn’t have annoying stuff like pop-up ads compared to other free alternatives.

  4. * Sync for Reddit
    * Google Photos
    * Instagram
    * Messenger
    * Movie Mate
    * Google Rewards
    * Google Maps
    * Google Agenda
    * Android Message
    * SMS Backup & Restore
    * Videoder

  5. SystemUI tuner, MessagEase, Novalauncher, Relay.

    When the official reddit app updated to its new appearance, it started lagging and crashing like crazy, especially when editing text. Relay has proven more reliable, and I prefer its interface.

  6. Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, but I want to give a shout-out to SD Maid. It frees up space, deletes duplicate files or empty folders, and has a built-in file explorer. But my favorite feature (which I think requires root) is AppControl, which I use to identify and stop apps that auto-start at boot.

  7. Samsung’s One Handed Mode+ gestures

    Samsung Notes (especially the screen-off notes feature)

    the local public transport app (got my pass on my phone)

    Google Maps (mainly when traveling – my data plan’s 12 g/month of free LTE in EU is sweet)

    Nova Launcher Prime
