  1. God bless you!

For everyone asking: the benefits for an app like this are also that you can keep track of most of your system apks. For my OnePlus3, there are often new apks for my camera and other stuff, but they aren’t published in the play store.

  2. What are the benefits of using this app over simply clicking upate all button on my play store app? Honest quesiton, never tried updating apps outside of play store.

  3. Very nice, I never understood why APKmirror didn’t create such an app themselves. If this app would download the APK directly in-app, it would be perfect.

  4. Damn, my notification sound fired off constantly until it had finished scanning for updates. Not sure why some are listed with an ‘install’ option while others are not?

  5. Neat. I still have apkupdater installed, but it doesn’t even see all apps anymore that are on apkmirror, despite claiming to get updates from there.

Edit: okay I’m on my phone… How do I get the apk from GitHub? « Jump to file » leads me to a list of countless files that sound like they’re part of the apk?

  6. Interesting… some questions though.

If I wipe my rooted phone to remove google play services completely, this will let me download apps from the Play Store still?

What if it is a paid Play Store app that I had purchased? Will those not work?

I assume that some apps will not work at all, because they might check for connectivity to the Play Store and other google APIs that would fail without Google Services?
